It’s the “little things” that matter….
ICU Support for Families Fund!
Our fund is dedicated to alleviating the stresses families & friends experience when their loved ones are hospitalized in our Critical Care Unit.
We Help. It’s that simple. With whatever the immediate need is.
Whether it’s providing a meal, getting toiletries to families who cannot leave the hospital or paying for parking, we try to do the small things so you can be there for the people you love.
Lauren Alexander was a healthy vibrant McGill student in International Studies when she suffered a sudden cardiopulmonary arrest due to a massive pulmonary embolism in January of 2013, just six weeks shy of her twenty first birthday.
We welcome any donations you would wish to direct to the fund- tax receipts will be issued on request from the Montreal General Hospital Foundation. We hope that this endeavour will play a small but meaningful role to comfort patients and families in crisis. We think that Lauren would have approved.
